The CO Research Trust is pleased to announce that registration is now open for its 5th annual CO Research Trust Conference, taking place on Thursday 12th November 2026 at the Institute of Directors, Pall Mall, London.
Under the theme “Turning Evidence into Impact”, this year’s Conference will bring together leading voices from across the CO Community to explore how evidence can be translated into meaningful action to reduce the harm caused by carbon monoxide (CO) exposure.
As the Conference celebrates its fifth year, the event reflects the growing strength of the carbon monoxide safety community and the increasing recognition of the vital role that research, education and awareness play in preventing CO-related harm.
Building on the success of previous conferences, the 2026 event will provide a unique opportunity for delegates to hear the latest research findings, share best practice, strengthen cross-sector collaboration and help shape future priorities in carbon monoxide research.
The Conference will focus on three core pillars:
• Education – Advancing knowledge and understanding of carbon monoxide exposure across sectors, from clinical settings to public guidance.
• Awareness – Improving recognition of CO risks, particularly among vulnerable groups, strengthening communication strategies, including supporting the launch of Carbon Monoxide Awareness Week.
• Research – Showcasing the latest evidence and emerging findings from across the sector.
Adrian McConnell, CEO of the CO Research Trust, said:
“As we mark the fifth annual CO Research Trust Conference, we are proud to bring together experts and stakeholders from across sectors to focus on a shared goal: reducing the harm caused by carbon monoxide exposure. The theme, ‘Turning Evidence into Impact’, reflects our commitment not only to advancing knowledge but to ensuring that research drives real-world change. Through collaboration, innovation and shared learning, we can continue to improve understanding, strengthen prevention efforts and ultimately save lives.”
Delegates will benefit from a full day of presentations, discussion and networking, in the heart of Westminster.
