The CO Research Trust has announced a number of sponsors who will be supporting this year's CO Research Conference.

Kane, the UK's only portable flue gas analyser manufacturer, will be sponsoring the morning session of the Conference, as well as the evening Drinks Reception. CEO Jonathan Kane is a tireless CO safety campaigner, receiving the Queen's Award for Innovation.

Jonathan said "Unsafe heating systems injure or kill occupants from CO while polluting boilers, engines & generators impact air quality, damaging our health. Analysers are the most important tool installers & service engineers can use - To quote Lord Kelvin: "To measure is to know".

Jonathan continued "We are delighted for the opportunity to sponsor the 2023 CO Research Conference. This year Kane is celebrating its 60th anniversary. This is a fitting way to mark this milestone and to honour our long-standing commitment to CO detection".

CORT CEO Adrian McConnell said "Over the years Kane has donated equipment to support a number of CORT projects. We are fortunate to have the support of a company that recognises the valuable role of research in improving air quality and saving lives".

The afternoon session of the Conference will be sponsored by all 4 Gas Distribution Networks; Cadent, Northern Gas Networks, SGN and Wales & West Utilities.

The catering breaks throughout the day of the Conference will be sponsored by CO Alarm manufacturer AICO.

AICO are the European market leader in Fire and Carbon Monoxide protection and HomeLink technology. They offer a network of alarms and sensors that provide data insights to improve home life safety.

Adrian McConnell said "To have received such support for the Conference from across the industry is fantastic".

He continued. "One of our priorities for the last few years has been to bring people together to focus on improving air quality and saving lives through research. We are now seeing how collaboration across the industry can benefit everyone".

The closing date for registration to the Conference is Mon 8th May. There are limited places left. Anyone wishing to attend is advised to sign up as soon as possible.
