On Wednesday 14th June the CO Research Trust will host the 2023 CO Research Conference. This year the day-long event will take place at Sheffield Hallam University, and will be open to anyone who wishes to attend.
The Trust has been working with the CO Research Group at Sheffield Hallam on a number of research projects. The team will be joining us during the day to discuss their work.

The format of the Conference will be slightly different this year, taking on board feedback from last year’s attendees. There will be more opportunities for networking with other delegates, and more interaction by delegates in the sessions.
The theme of this year's Conference is 'CO and the Indoor Environment'.
Discussions will be focused on the following;
- Health and indoor air quality
- Fuel poverty and the consequences for CO safety
- Solid fuels and the complexities of reporting, safety and impact on air quality
- The impact of building regulations and energy efficiency measures on CO safety
The afternoon agenda will include several breakout sessions which will allow delegates to participate in discussions and debates of interest to them.
The subject of the breakout sessions will be confirmed soon.
The Trust will provide a brief update on grant funding for 2023, and we will also hear from some of the grant awardees.
Coffee and registration will open from 10 am. The full agenda for the day will be published shortly.
The formal agenda will end at 5.45 pm, with a drinks reception at a nearby venue from 6 pm - 7 pm.
Lunch and refreshments will be provided for all delegates throughout the day.
The Conference is free to attend and you can register using the link below.
