The lack of mandatory reporting of CO related incidents from solid fuels continues to be problematic. This means it’s difficult to establish an accurate picture of the risk from solid fuels in UK homes.

From this project Dr Hanlon and his team have developed a number of action points relating to the regulatory and policy landscape, incident data and research opportunities.

The final report, Solid Fuel and Carbon Monoxide Review, can be viewed here.
