The highly successful CO Lectures Series returns in October with a double-header of expert speakers.

The subject of the first presentation is "Education, Ventilation, Information: improving air quality in our schools".

The lecture will be presented by Professor Nicola Carslaw from the University of York. Professor Carslaw has carried out extensive work to analyse the impact that indoor air quality in schools can have on the health and outcomes of children and young people.

We will also be joined by Nikki James Zellner, a school and CO safety activist and mum of two from the USA. Nikki will share with us her very personal experience of being the parent of a child exposed to CO.

The lecture will take place on Wednesday 11th October from 2 pm - 3 pm.

CORT CEO Adrian McConnell said.

"Our lecture series has proven to be a great way to share the work we support and highlight initiatives happening elsewhere. Creating a platform for knowledge sharing is a priority that complements our core focus on grant-giving and collaboration. Previous seasons have built a superb resource for anyone seeking information about CO exposure, all of which are freely available on our website."

The CO Research Trust would like to invite both the CO and School communities to join the lecture and take part in this critical conversation.

All presentations are free to attend and can be watched again on the CORT website www.coresearchtrust.org.
