The CO Research Trust has partnered with the National Carbon Monoxide Awareness Association for the first-ever CO Safety Summit.
The Summit took place from 31st July until 2nd August in Wilmington, United States at the NASFM’s 33rd Annual Fire Prevention & Safety Symposium.
CEO Adrian McConnell was there to present the latest CO Research projects from the UK, alongside some of the grant awardees.
Adrian McConnell said.
“We have seen the benefits of sharing knowledge and working collaboratively with partners and organisations in the CO community. The CO Safety Summit has provided the opportunity to not only share our knowledge but also gain an understanding of the issues and challenges in the US.”
This dedicated CO Safety Summit focused on education, research, case studies, data, new technologies, and best practices.
There were also networking opportunities to speak with 300+ fire marshals and fire service professionals, 70+ carbon monoxide professionals and community risk reduction experts.
